| Worried about my Roxy Hi everyone. I have just had Roxy for a week and the past two nights I've noticed that it looks like she is hiccuping in her sleep. I dont know if this is normal but I get freaked out and wake her up. Im calling the vet today to see what this could be. Have any of you experienced this with your yorkie? |

| Schatzie did this too when she was younger...Seems she just kinda grew out of it..I hadn't thought much of it until just now reading your thread. So, Im guessing they just "grow out of it".

| Is it a loud hiccup? I know my Yoda dreams a lot in his sleep, but usually it's just weird whimpers and little sounds, but it's not too loud for him. |

| It is probably totally normal. They have a name for it... backwards sneezing? lol I can't recall the name, but it is normal for dogs. It sounds like they are dying, but I have researched it, because my puppy was doing it and scared the heck out of me! Reverse Sneezing That might help out a bit! |
