| What happened to my Husband!!! Well my husband used to be the guy that said little dogs are yippee dogs and no way would I want one! Well I always had my heart set on a yorkie so after Queenie passed away I told everyone that I'm getting a small dog. So came Ivy than Max. I knew my husband would love a small dog ( he loves all pets) but I never would believe he would do what he did last week! We went camping last week and when we took the dogs for a walk Ivy got a big bad leaf on her butt well she just sat down in the road and would not move. I had to pull it off her and on her way she went. Well we are in the woods so their were a lot of bad leaves and you guessed it another leaf got stuck! Well my husband got down and Ivy rolled on her back for him and he took anything that was stuck to her off. I had all I could do not to laugh. But what I can't believe even more is he would let me get another!!!!

| Does this mean that you will be getting another Yorkie? My DH said that 3 were enough, but when I found Izzy and rescued her, he just fell in love with her. Now, I have 4.

| There's just no defense against Yorkie Love. You're doomed to a life of kisses, cuddles and love once they have you under their spell. And I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

| My DH is a "Puppy Stealer" Pretty much the same with my DH. He has always been an animal lover....we've had all kinds (fish, birds, hamsters, cats, dogs, etc., etc.) during our 27+ years together. I found a Yorkiepoo and just mentioned that I would like to go see her. Well, that is all it took....like buying a new car....he was ready for a roadtrip and test drive, hehe....would not shut up until I called the lady and made an appointment. So off to TN we went. Well, the Yorkiepoo was cute, but it just didn't click. To my surprise, my DH said "What about that little yorkie? So, long story short....we came home with Rily. Cost a lot more...I might add! but, worth every penny!! He later told our neighbors that I had always (its true) wanted a yorkie, and he wanted Rily the instant he saw him. Rily is a Momma's Boy, but DH is working hard to win him over. Our schnauzer thinks (and always has) that DH hung the moon, so it is just a matter of time until he steals Rily too. They are home together all day and I am back in school now.

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | OMG yall!!! My DH LOVES them! He is so protective. He had a softball game last night and he called the "guy in charge" to make sure they allow fur babies in the park. The guy told him NO PETS, NO GLASS BOTTLES, NO ALCOHOL. Van said, "What, these are my children and you are telling me they are NOT welcome." He said, "Well, your children have fur and 4 feet and they are not welcome." Van said a bad word and hung up!!! I could not believe it. He proceeded to rant about how people are screwed up and he just wants to move away where people "get it". I told him I didnt know if that place exists. haha I LOVE IT!! He is ready for number 3, I think! |

| I think he might be ready for #3?!?! I hope so because I just took Ivy to my groomer today, she shows and raises Papillons but has a girlfriend who shows and raises Yorkies. I told her if her friend has any retired dogs let me know. I love puppies and kids but like them both best when older. If I had told her sooner maybe I would have gotten the show dog that she just retired last week. Oh well if it's meant to be it will happen.

| My last "best friend" was an English Mastiff (weighed 180 lbs), and I also thought the little ones were "yippee"...UNTIL, I fell in love w/a friend's yorkie...It took me a year and a half to get another best friend, as I was so heartbroken losing my pebbles (I know, ironic name)...Anyway, I'm so in love w/my little one, and she also, totally stops, if she gets one small leaf, twig or pine needle on her...I even posted about it one time...These yorkie babies have an uncanny way of wrapping us around all their little paws, lol, not just the little one |

| My DH took our Jack on a motorcycle ride to Burgess Falls yesterday. He dressed Jack in his little harley shirt and leather jacket. Of course everyone loved seeing them togather. A women got out of a cadillac exculade and came over to play with Jack. She loved him so much she offered my DH $3000.00 for him. He told her no amount of money could buy his boy. He was always a big macho biker who thought little dogs were wimpy. Now all 3 of our furbabies have him wrapped around their little finger. LOL |
