| Olivver's first night- some more questions too Over all he did really well. We went on a long walk before bed time. He is not eating. Is that normal for the neew adjustment to a new home? I mixed some Royal CANine with his old food. I also added a little teaspoon of cottage cheese because she said he had canned mixed with it and I don't have any. We have had 2 accidents but I am taking him out every 30 minutes and he did not pee in crate at all. He slept through the night, no crying or whining. As I type this, this little cuddle bug is stilling with me. He likes the arm of the recliner so I put a stool next to it so he can't fall off. Debbie |

| I haven't seen your other posts, but can you tell me how old he is? When I brought Izzy home, she didn't eat either. Put some Karo syrup in his water, you don't want him having low blood sugar. That's what I tell all my new owners to do. If it gets too bad, you can take him to the vet and request a B12 shot. They gave one to Izzy and she started eating like a horse. I hope this information helps.

| Hi there and welcome to YT. I have read your other post either but I agree, please keep an eye on him for low blood sugar. I am sure that he is just getting to know his new home. Remember, his whole little world has turned upside down. In time I am sure that he will be okay. Just do what you are doing, giving him love and attention. I am sure that he is missing his previous mommy and home. Sounds like he is going to have a wonderful home with you. Good luck.
