YT Addict | What animal insurance should i go with? anyone happy with theirs? Im looking for health insurance for my dogs Does anyone have pet insurance what companies are you with. I have read somewhere that petplan is good think im going to go with that. i almost signed up with ASPCA but read a few bad reviews and decided i don't think its that great. petplan looks a bit cheaper and covers more too it looks like. |

| I have Pet Plan. He's only been signed up for a few months and I haven't had to file anything (thank goodness!) but when looking around I really liked it, and I could afford it.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I have VPI and have been happy with it. It does not cover preexisting or congenital conditions though.

YT Addict | thanks guys im going to try out petplan. i dont like that they make you pay everything up front then reimburse you. the whole reason why i wanted it is in case a accident happens and i don't have the 3,000 or whatever for some surgery on me. but being reimbursed is better then nothing i guess. but thought that's what insurance is. helping you pay bills you cant completely afford all at once. i might be better off just putting that money aside a month. let me know how your first clame goes. hope you don't need it though. |

| We previously had the AKC plan for our english bulldog. We loved it and they covered a lot of the preventative stuff. We were extremely lucky with him as he had no medical issues at all.
