| not sleeping throught the night My 2 year old Jada has not slept throught the night the last 3 nights. She slept all night since we got her in May. She is a rehome. She has plenty of energy and appetite. I thought maybe it was because she was sleeping too much during the day, but I was home all day yesterday and She and Bogie played most of the day ( just a few short naps here and there). I have cut her back a little on her food. (she had gained about 2lbs),her vet didn't want her to gain since she has lp. I wonder if she may be hungry? I have cut back about a 1/3 on what is recommended for her ideal weight and substitute green beans to make up the diff. Any thoughts about what it could be would be appreciated. thanks

| Is it hot there? Or is it close to a full moon? I know that affects my kids sleep sometimes. Maybe there is a new noise off in the distance that Jada can hear but you can't. Dogs always know things we have no clue of. Side story, but when I was young, my husbands dog stuck at my feet one day when staying out at his camp. He literally wouldn't leave me. He had never done that, but when outside by myself he stuck to me like glue. Turns out there was a bear very near by all day and that night it scraped at the cabin walls for hours. Hope your little one gets settled soon.

| Zeus used to sleep through the night until May. I believe it is due to the heat. Once summer temps started to soar he was sleeping all day and started waking a couple times at night. I make sure to keep him active and now he only wakes once during the night. I hope this gets better once the temps cool back down. |
