| New Yorkie Spanky wakes up at 3:30 AM Our latest addition to our family has been waking us up at 3:30 AM for his bathroom visit. Any suggestions in reference to changing Spany's wake up call? We leave water out for Spanky and Cody. However, when we cut their water off early. The youngest one Spanky still gives us a 3:30 AM wake up call. Please advise............ | How old is Spanky? I woke up in the middle of the night with Jackson once every night until he was about... 16-17 weeks old or so? It's very normal for a puppy. If he's a bit older, have you tried ignoring? If he's in a crate or ex-pen, just ignore him one night and see if he can hold it. I always made sure to let Jackson out real late no matter how tired I was... usually around 11pm and then he wouldn't wake until 7am as a young pup.

| Right now mine is almost 14 weeks and he can hold it for about 5-6 hours if he has to. When I first got him home he always had to go in the middle of the night but that tapered off and he has been able to hold it for a longer time now. Hope this helps.
