| Show People Question?? I have always wondered this but didnt want to ask for fear of sounding stupid, but here goes anyways?? Since silk is the correct coat for a Yorkie, have there ever been any "soft" or " cottony" coated Yorkies that have been champions? I ask this because I see some really beautiful soft or cottony coated yorkie pictures here? I know that this is not the typical correct coat but often see breeders that produce cottony coated pups that are beautiful, I also see breeders that have black coats on dams and sires that have babies, if a blue/black or silver is correct why breed those? If this is silly question forgive me, but I really do wonder this all the time?

| OKay that makes me feel better , it may be a silly question but at least I know someone else wonders the same thing... I see alot of AKC websites that have many champion lines or supposedly do that have really black looking yorkie sire and dams that have not broken color at all that remain dark and appear to have cottony coats? So I had to ask
