| what do you do if your gone during the day (work/school)? Just curious how long you guys leave them.... etc... I will be starting school (actually wasnt planned when i bought the puppies...) and going Mon through Thur from 8am til 4pm. There is NO WAY for me to get back to my house or anyone for that matter to take them out. We have thought about getting the pad that looks like grass... OR kitty litter train them. So that they can be in their xpen together all day and be fine. I would LOVE to be able to drop them off to my grandmother to watch during those hours. BUT shes older and not all there. She WILL give them table food which is a HUGE NO NO and she will NOT listen at all. She gives her dog table food and Lexi will sit and bark if she sees you eating. She also has her OWN dog (a toy poodle whos 20lbs) boy...So she has to take care of him anyways. (he has HORRIBLE habits) and we have been so picky with the girls cause we dont want horrible dogs. What do I do!???

| I would train them to pee pads and use the x-pen so they have space to play. Not sure if it's true or not but I've heard litter if ingested can swell in there stomachs, and I don't know about yours but my Bean is a little goat! |

| If you piddle pad train them and put them in an ex-pen, they should be fine. Mine spend the majority of time sleeping. Just have to walk and play with them when I get home so they get some exercise. Good luck with school. ~Joanne~

| Rockie is at home by himself between the hours of eight thru twelve until my daughter gets out of school and she lets him out of his x pen until one thirty when she goes to work. l'm at work for eight thru four thirty. He has his wee wee pad, water and carrots until l get off work. Sometimes l'm able to come home on my lunch break. Rockie is 2 1/2 years old.

| No advice except if you can confine them to a small room with a gate up, and have some pee pads, toys, bed food and water available for them. That will be better then being in a cage. My dog only goes in the cage if we are all out of the house for a short time. However this is maybe 1-3 hours per week max, someone is always home with her or she comes to work with me. |

| Hmm, no advice, unless you could find a dog sitter to come by and let them out once during the day. I'm starting school again Monday and Jackson will stay in my room while I'm gone. Monday, Wednesday, Fri will be gone from 9am-2 and then Tuesdays and Thursdays, I'll only be gone for about 2 hours. Plus, if for any other reason I'm away longer, he stays at my dad's house who has 2 dogs and his girlfriend is a stay at home mom. So, I'm lucky there. But I think the dogs, especially once they get a bit older, will be absolutely fine from 8-4. They just sleep anyways!

| we used the xpen and put a puppy pad down. they actually did really good with this system. I work from home now but when I do have to leave them all day on the days I am in the office we use this system and they now hold it till i get home (or one of my daughters comes home between classes).

| My Yorkie is just in his cage asleep when im at school. My mom is at home most of the time when im in school, but he is also often alone 4-5 hours when im at school and he just goes to sleep. He first barks a litle, but when he sees that im not coming to him and taking him out of the cage, he stops barking.
