| Anyone with pet sitters? So, my work scheduled will probably be changing which will require me to work one day a week from 730 am - 730 pm. There is NO way I am leaving Maddie alone for that whole period of time. I don't get a lunch break (the joy of health care jobs) but I told my boss that she would at least need to let me leave for 30 minutes to take her out to go potty. I am looking in to pet sitters (there are no doggie day cares around here) and was wondering if anyone else has used anyone like that? Or anyone in the Columbia, MO area want to take on a puppy for one day a week. HAHA! |

| Is Maddie pad trained? Is there a friend, relative, or neighbor who could come and check on her and play with her for a while? If it's only gonna be one day a week, maybe you could find someone to help you out that one day. I'm an RN so I know the pressure you are under about not being able to leave your job. Good Luck and let us know how you make out!!

| I have a friend that can take her one day, but I still need someone for one more day. This is only until December and then I go back to my night shifts which I can bring Maddie with me I just moved so I don't really know my neighbors that well. I found a website of a couple of people that seem very trustworthy. I might call them and they will come by for a free consultation. Just wanted to see if someone else had experience with this. |

| I would ask your vet if he knew anyone that did that. Lots of times vets know these things.. You could also ask around at your church your work ect..maybe someone there could recommend someone.. I think it's great you are looking into a pet sitter. I have thought many of times of doing something like that. I know that in alot of areas there are pet sitter services. Good luck in finding one.. |

| I have used a pet sitter for my 2 cats in the past. We used to be gone every weekend from Friday - Monday in the summertime. She was really great with them. She would leave me notes about them. She would even do little things like water plants, p/u mail/turn lights on and off-differnet rooms at differnet times. She wasn't overly expensive either. I think it was like $12/day for the 2 of them.

| Just an update: I am meeting with a "Pet Nanny" today. She seems super super nice and I read all of her agreements and paperwork and you can tell that her number one priority is the health of my baby. She even refers to Maddie as my "fur baby" which I think is adorable. I'm very excited to meet her. She seems like one of those "crazy cat ladies!" everyone loves crazy cat ladies! |
