| A boy or a girl? I am definately thinking about getting another Yorkie if money permits me to, but I have a problem. I am able to pick between a boy and a girl, same litter. I dunno which one would be better. I already have Porscha and I think another girl would be easier they could share all the same stuff, yet I think having one boy and one girl would be cute too. I can't think of any girl names either but I have like 4 boy names picked out. I know its really all up to me but I can't decide I need help!!! |

| I really enjoy having a male and a female. That way you get the best of both.

| Well with a name like RowdysMom, you can see that I have a little boy! I'm sure it mostly depends on the dog and their personality, but my little Rowdy just could not be more sweet and loving. In fact, I have never seen a dog so devoted, loving and sweet. I am definitely thinking of getting him a playmate, and like you I would like to have one of the opposite sex (girl), but something keeps telling me that I might never find a little girl as sweet as him. So, I guess I'd say that I am partial to boys!

| I have my fist boy Dennis, though previously have had 3 girls. I wanted a girl, but after waiting about 8 months I could stand it no more and took a male. He may in time become as sweet and loving as my girls, but as yet, there is just no comparison. My little Raisin was like a sweet exotic tropical flower in her red bow, and Shaddow and Tiki as well as Raisin were all so devoted, loving, sweet, trusting, and beyond loyal! I still want my little girl! |

| I have one of each, and I love them both. SKippy's a momma's boy, and Gwen's a daddy's girl. |

| Any decision will be a good one but I would get a boy so you have one of each. Boys are so great! but then...so are girls. |

Donating YT 14K Club Member | I've got 2 boys and a girl...right now. One question you need to ask yourself is if you have one of each sex are you willing to have to deal with the chance of breeding? If your girl is already fixed, you have nothing to worry about...same if you have 2 girls...no worries. You bring a male into the picture and you may...I personally don't...but you may have to worry about marking even after he is fixed. Something to think about. Good luck in your search!

| I think it would be nice to have a boy and a girl. We have a male yorkie. If we get another one, we will get a female so that he can continue to be the alpha male around here! hehehe
