| Anyone heard of www.premiumbreeders.com? Hi everyone! Someone I know is looking to buy a Yorkie from this site and I was wondering if anyone has any experience with them. They advertise Yorkshire Terriers and Yorkshire Terriers (teacup) and the "teacup" made me a little nervous. From what I know they do an extensive background check on the potential buyer before selling to them which sounded reputable but the whole thing kind of reminded me of a dog broker. The person I know that is getting a dog through this company is so excited and has been through the interview process. She is getting one of the "teacups" and said the father is about 4 lbs and the mother is just a little over 4 lbs. They gave her details on both parents. Well, just wanted to get your input and experience with this company. Thank you!

| there is more than 'teacup' that should make you nervous. These peope are brokers and no doubt most of the puppies come from puppy Mills. I wouldn't have a puppy from them if it were free. |

| Ah, I remembered the site as soon as I read the guarantee. At first it sounds great, they have a death guarantee, lost/stole guarantee -- basically allow 50% of price of the dog for a replacement any time. But the kicker is you must have copies of all food, supplement and vet receipts to show you followed all of their recomendations on food and supplements as well as vet visits. The dog cannot be bred, or overweight with hip dysplasia or that also voids the guarantee. I also do not read anything about health guarantees -- everythng only relates to the loss of the dog through death, being lost, or theft. Definately a broker where you will probably never really know what conditions your pup was raised in. I would run the other way.

| I had to look at this site and OMG tell her to stay away!!!! The price is so high and the puppies don't even look healthy. The one little puppy next to the soda can looked so sad. She is just looking for trouble with these people. Any one that sells that many different breeds is a puppy mill. Show her what puppy mills look like then maybe she will change her mind. Their are a lot of breeders on this site that I'm sure can help. She is not helping by getting a puppy from people like this they will then breed more to make up for the one she got.

| just looked at their website MAJOR red flags, there is NO way in which a site run like that is a reputable breeder because the website itself is not a breeder, it's some kind of a broker or company that sells all those dogs from other people, they get the puppies from other breeders that they probably don't know that much about and can't possibly control the health and wellness of all those different types of dogs from a million other places, a reputable breeder has one breed that they work with and raises them in the home...i got my dog from a backyard breeder who had several breeds, but not NEARLY as many as this website has. RUN AWAY! |

| Thank you everyone for your replies! I recommended to the person who is thinking of buying from this site to beware and that it looks like they are selling puppy mill dogs. I have a feeling she is so far into the process now that she can't/won't back out.
