| Worried about my Baby!! Chloe is 14 weeks yesterday. She is my first yorkie. Yesterday she was fine in the morning she got her biweekly bath in the afternoon. Everything was fine. Both my girls have nasty colds. Chloe got a hold of one of their tissues yesterday. I got it from her after she had shredded a little of it. She seemed fine that evening just a little tired. During the night she didn't sleep well she coughed a little. Today she wont eat much. She does want her treats if she hears the bag. I gave her some Chicken just to get her to eat and some of her Nutri-cal so she doesn't get low blood sugar. Can Dogs get colds from humans???? She coughs once in a while, has a little bit of a runny nose and very sleepy just wants to be held. She is drinking and potting. Any advise would be great.

| dogs don't catch human cold and we don't from them; that is weird. i would take her to the vet just to be on the safe side; she has something for sure because of what you described

| Yes, I agree, a visit to the vets is in order. At this age they can go downhill very, very fast. Best to error on the side of caution when they are puppies.

| I'm so sorry for the loss of your baby Chloe. It's so hard to understand how they can be so healthy and playful one minute and the next so sick. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

| I gasped in shock with what happened to your dear Chloe. I'm just so saddened to hear the devastating news. My heart goes out to you and your family. I looked through your album and Chloe was such a beautiful and cuddly looking little doll. Sending a hug your way. |
