Senior Yorkie Talker | She got out! Whenever I leave to go somewhere, if I can't take Bella with me I leave her in her little pen with toys, water, food, and a potty pad. Since Lucky is older is has free roam of the house. Anyway, I came home from viewing a possible home to move into, I was gone from 12:30 to 2:30, and what did I find when I opened the front door? OMG! Not only was Lucky greeting me, but so was Bella! She some how got out! I'm sure she climbed out. Now what? The pen is as tall as a toddler gate. Oh Bella, always keeping me on my toes. At least she didn't potty anywhere, well not that I know of. |

| Hahahha, maybe she's telling you that she's a big girl now, and wants to be out with Lucky

| Lola is about the same size, and we've taken to calling her Miss Houdini. She can get out of clothes, harnesses, her carseat, most anything she sets her mind to. Makes me wonder if the tiny ones are more sneaky??

| I had this problem with Duncan since he was about 15 weeks in a regular small xpen....so I had an xpen for a rabbit I use to have and that worked just fine. It looks just like the doggie xpen but only has 3 bars going across so they can not climb it.

Senior Yorkie Talker | Not too sure if it's just the little ones, cuz Lucky is 10lbs and when ever I would leave him in the kitchen and block it off with a baby gate, I would find that he managed to jump up into the sink and then over the counter into the living room. I caught him one time. He was on time out in the kitchen with a baby gate and I had gone upstairs. Suddenly I heard this loud noise so I went to check on him and found him standing in the sink. Bad puppy, but slightly funny! |

| Oh my! I know I probably shouldn't be, but I am laughing at the picture of this in my mind. I must say you have some very resourceful little furbabies!!! Makes you wonder if they stay awake plotting things

The 3 Musketeers Donating Member | I have same problem here except I know that my Misty is helping Cassie climb the fence. Cassie is in the pen and Misty climbs into the pen to be with her. When Misty is done, she climbs out with Cassie right behind her. They are tricky!

| Ha, I had this same problem x2 about a month ago. I put Molly in the laundry room with a FOUR FOOT tall baby gate. She was fine the first day, but the next day, there she was greeting me at the door! She must have climbed it. I dont want her to have free range of the house bc she isn't completely trained, so the next day I put her in the laundry room and closed the door.....Came home from work, and there was Molly greeting me again! I thought, OMG, she opened the door! Well, I got to the laundry room and she had chewed through the bottom of the door and got out! I was in total disbelief!! Now what we have been doing is putting up the four foot baby gate with another 3 foot gate stacked on top. There is about 2 feet left at the top. So far, Hudini hasn't escaped that! |

| OMG, I got scared when I saw the title , thinking that a little one escaped through the front door So glad she is ok ! LIttle one is a very clever baby. Wants to be all grown up now Run with the big dogs now , LOL. They grow so fast don't they ? My Shih Tzu pup is not even 4 months and even though her legs are much shorter then Suzi's are , she is a little brute. Not too much longer Miely will be bigger then Suzi. But that's ok . Suzi has a friend and they are so cute together .

| That is funny! When we are going to be gone for long periods of time we keep ours in a pen and short trips they are free to roam. One time we were gone and our neighbor called and said that our dogs were barking, so we rushed home and somehow Roxie had gotten out of their pen they share and Ryder was in there, and they both were crying. Roxie wanted her pen and Ryder wanted her back. We were amazed!
