| Anyone else love how their DH is with their baby? I absolutely love when my DH wakes up to take the pup outside and i can hear him saying "good girl" to her and saying her name over and over when he plays with her. mommy gets tired and has to work early and daddy usually gets to sleep in more or nap later on, so he's been a big help taking turns in the night letting her out, he's so adorable with the "good girl Sadie" and he's so cute with her. He still hasn't realized, but hopefully he finally did today that she cannot be left to play on the floor without being watched. she's had an accident on our kitchen floor three times now because he keeps trying to do chores and let her play, i finally got through to him that he has to crate her if he can't focus his full attention on her or she's going to pee on the floor. i think we might have made a breakthrough and he's realizing this now!! Anyways, this is a thread to share the love of our b/fs and DH's for their support in loving our babies. |

| My DH didn't really want to get a puppy. It took a LOT of convincing. NOW, DH just loves on him and plays with him all the time. It's like he turns into a different person when he's around Beaux. It's soooo cute!! I love them both so much!

| My DH did not want a small dog at all. Once he meet Jack he was done for. Now we have 3 Yorkies. He takes Jack everywhere with him. Even on his motercycle. It is so funny to see a big biker dude with such a little dog. Jack is 2 years old and weighs 3.5 lbs. |

I think its great that your husband is helping out with the puppy's training and that he praises her as well, that is a very good way for her to catch on to potty training!

| Wow!!! My husband is also a big biker and he totally LOVES our Sprocket. It is adorable to see them together. He didn't really want a small dog we got him because I really wanted one. Now he is more a daddy's little boy....he thinks I'm jealous but I am lovin' those two together. He is also a big help in his daily care and training. He has fallen as much in love with him as I have. They are "My Guys"

| My DH woke me around midnight to ask me to remove the pup from his face lol. He didn't want to move her himself. I think he doesn't ever want to be the bad guy. Wouldn't matter anyway. This pup prefers him, and insists on sleeping on his pillow cuddled up to his head lol.

| It took me a LONG time to convice my husband to let me get a yorkie. He did not want an inside dog & we don't have any kids so he really enjoys his freedom. When we went to the breeder to pick one out, I couldn't decide on just one & ended up coming home with 2! I was very surprised (and still am sometimes) to see him interact with Buster & Bailey. Since they are "my dogs", I do all of the regular caretaking (feeding, bathing, walking, etc), but my husband helps sometimes. The other day he actually took them for a walk by himself (I was shocked)! It is so cute to see him say hello to them in the morning (he gives them rub downs & belly scratches that they LOVE)!!

| This just in: My hubbie is at home with Sadie until 2pm and his father and brother came over to play with her. So she's got uncle Matt and Grandpa Rick to play with today as well. My hubbie said she took a big nap and then went outside and now she's playing like crazy. HOW CUTE! i want to be home right now |

Also, he can't tell her no. If she's eating leaves, he just says very kindly "Now, Chloe...you can't chew on that." And then proceeds to explain to her why she can't eat leaves. I'm like..."Honey, she can't understand you. Just tell her no!" He's too soft-hearted! -C

| DH didn't really want an inside dog, and was pretty adament that she was not going to sleep in our bed. Now, when he gets up to go to bed, he calls for her to go too...love it! |

| DH and Bluebelle are in love - it's official. He bathes her, grooms her, takes her everywhere in the car...etc etc...the only thing he doesn't do is get up in the night with her. He is also rubbish at seeing the signs to go out! Even when I tell him, he thinks he knows better and then we have to pee off the floor Tonight when she came home from day care and he was back from an overnight trip, she couldn't stop kissing him for 5 minutes! He was loving it |
