| ideas please! i take maisy to a puppy class on thursdays..anyways we get to pick a toy out of the big box for our dogs..like kongs and stuff if we teach our dog a trick thats not necessary to learn in class. So far in class she learned sit, down, belly up, come, give, leave it, and stay. Can anyone please think of something i can teach her that hopefully she will catch onto soon and is not to complicated?? ideas would be appreciated! thanks!! |

| You could teach her roll over. It should be pretty simple to do since you already have her going belly up.

| Never too late to teach. Try the clicker method for older dogs. The clicker can train everything from birds learning to run obstacle courses, cats playing fetch and doing sit-stay, dolphins through hoops, etc... The clicker method works for these exotic situations, a dog being a little older sure won't be any more difficult. (or difficult at all) My dog actually perks up when I grab the clicker. It's a fun game! |
