| Yorkie Agility? I really wanted to try agility, but now I am nervous it will be too rough on the knees. Has anyone here tried it with a Yorkie? Anyone ever asked their vet? I would just die if Luna hurt her knees doing something I asked her to do!

Thor's Human Donating Member | Hi there! My dog is not smart enough to do agility, otherwise I would love to try it. Ping alaskayorkie, his dog has actually qualified in some official events. He's gotten some Qs... not sure what it means, but it sounds exciting. He's also given good tips on how to build yorkie-sized practice equipment.

| I know several peope that do agility. it hasn't seemed to hurt their yorkies at all and I think they are happier than they would be if they were doing conformation. No full show coat to worry about. |

| We're no Mike and Eddie,(Alaskayorkie) but Ginger's done some agility. She loves it. They lower the jumps and all based on the size of the dog, nothing is high impact and it all seems very safe to me. Good luck!!!
