| New yorkie owner needs question answered if possible I have owned my Yorkie who is the love of my life since she was a puppy. She is 9 months old and weighs 3 pounds. Everytime she runs around playing she makes a snorting type noise. Is this normal or is there a problem ?? She has never had a collar or anything around her neck so with her being the love of my life I want to make sure she is in great health. I HOPE SOMEONE CAN HELP ME WITH THIS |

Most yorkies do that. Mine does too! Google "reverse sneeze" and see if thats what you are talking about..Peanut does it when he drinks water too fast or when he gets excited. You also have to be aware of a "collaspe trechea" I would google that too! At first thats what I thought pnut had till I spent 500$ in vet bills and realized it was just a reversed sneeze=) What I do that helps a lot is when peanut is having his little attack to talk to them and rub her throat up and down...When peanut does that he will stop dead in his tracks and stand in a wide stand...I stop what I am doing talk to him and rub his throat...and he will stop

| Thanks for the videos. I was pretty sure what we have but I'm glad to be positive. You know, of course, that they never do it in front of the vets. LOL Sylvia |
