| My Bailey is 2.3 lbs!! Bailey was weighed at the vet today and he is 2lbs 3 ounces at 17 weeks and I am so happy!! I am a nervous wreck when he is around other people or my bf`s dogs for fear of him getting trampled! I hope he gets to be at least 5 lbs..why people want itsy bitsy doggies I will never know it is stressful when they are super tiny!

| I, totally, agree w/u about wanting one a little sturdier! Apple was 2 lbs. no ounces at 11 1/2 weeks old, and slated to be about 4 - 4 1/2 lbs. at maturity...At her 9 month check up, she was 4 lbs. 14 ounces, and I couldn't be more pleased...I'm sure at her 10 month "weigh-in", she'll be 5 lbs., and I think that would be perfect...I'm so glad your little Bailey is putting on weigh, nicely...I think good food, good love, and good care has lots to do w/our little ones growing up to be all they can be! |

| I agree, I was so happy when Lexi reached 4 lbs and she is now a little over 9 months. She is so sturdy and can hold her own. She still is little but she seems to be able to deal with the little things better and bounce back quickly Hugs Cheryl & Lexi |

| I think my problem with Bailey is that he is a little dare devil and must think he is as tough as a larger dog, he tries to climb things and then jump off them too, I`m always on guard I think he has actually given me a few grey hairs!! It`s good your Lexi has reached the 4lb mark

| Sounds like a good vet check-up I'm reallllly hoping Missy will make it to 4 lbs, but I'm starting to lose hope. She's 11 months old now. It IS stressful having such a little Yorkie.

| Some say they are about finished growing in bone structure about 8 months and then fill out a little 'till about a year...Apple had a little growth spurt and weight gain between 8 and 9 months...Thank-you for the compliment on her name...I tried to call her lots of names, but her face reminded me of a golden apple, when she became my girl, and I couldn't call her anything else |

| For the last couple of months she's fluctuated between 3 lbs 10 or 12 ozs. She'll go up to 3lb 12 ozs and I'll think *great, she's on her way up* and then she'll drop down a couple of ozs again. Ah well...what can ya do!

Donating YT 500 Club Member | I agree, small = scarey! I didn't want a little bitty one for many reasons...maybe not as big as mine but that's okay...better big than little in my house because of my kids and enormous hubby...lol!

| Yup! Other bigger dogs around Bailey scare me to death as well, Bailey is right in the faces of my bf's 2 dogs, one of them is quite a bit bigger and likes to play, so I have to be very careful with my fearless little guy!
