| I'm a bad owner. I feel so horrible. I was in another room while my mother was with Tinky. She somehow climbed on these small stairs [big for her] and scared my mom to death so when she gasped, Tinky stumbled off, hitting her head on the tile floor. She cried so loud. I sprinted in the room scared half to death. I feel so bad for not watching her, even if my mom was with her or not. I'M A BAD MOMMY. Update: She's fine, no lumps, walking normally. Just tired. I'm still guilty as heck.

| no you're not a bad mommy..things like that happen even if you're there sometimes...like kids we do our best to protect them but we can't possibly protect them from everything...just know that you love her and she knows that you are a good mommy...we've all had things like that happen..

| i had a similar feeling when my husband was taking Sadie out to potty, he wasn't holding her well and she was wiggly and he bent over and it looked like he dropped her on the floor, so i freaked out on him, turns out he was putting her down so he wouldn't drop her, but after that mommy had to tell daddy how to hold the baby... now he's doing much better with her...still i feel like a bad mommy even when daddy does the wrong... |

| I'm glad that your little one is alright. I had an accident similar in which my little girl broke her leg. It scared me to death and I just kept beating myself up over it. The doctor told me that it was a very common break in dogs this size. I am just so glad that your little one is fine. By the way, mine healed up great and you can't even tell it happened to her. |

| Glad she is OK - be warned....you feel a million times worse when you are right there! I was 5 feet away when Bluebelle broke her leg! The guilt is still with me - sigh! These things happen... |
