| Help with White Dog Issues I admit it. I have never owned a white haired dog before (my dal does not count as a white haired dog. She had dog fur which kept itself white. Not hair which clings to dirt). I have a new baby parti. I adore her. She put on mud shoes today. Hmmm. Her nether regions have a yellowing to the white hair. Her tummy which should be a clear sweet white is usually sporting small pieces of grass, dirt, what have you. I am betting my traditional yorkie has these same issues, but you can't SEE them. So how do you deal with a white dog? How do you keep their feet looking like they have only stepped on a deep shag carpet for their whole life? I have seen these all-white dogs before, and I assumed the dog kept itself white. Goll this is like getting a white carpet and trying to keep it looking nice! What is the secret? Saran wrapping the feet before they go out to play? White-out in the personal hygeine area? Some top secret spray that only AKC judges are allowed to legally purchase? Please, help me out.

Thor's Human Donating Member | Ha! I see all these cute little Westies in my neighborhood. It never occurred to me that they don't just repel non-white particles.

Tell me about shampoo for white dogs. What brand do you like? How effective is it? I wish they would repel non-white particles! That would be great!

| How often do you all bathe your white dogs? Mine is still a puppy and for some reason I am thinking it is not good to bathe puppies very often, don't know if I heard that from a vet or a groomer or who. Is that true? Maybe I just made it up in my mind? So, how often did you bathe yours as a puppy and how often as an adult? Do clothes on the dog help? I am going to start looking for some white shampoo, I am sure I will post reviews. Since I need a comb as well I may try the CC brand. I appreciate all your advice! This is harder than I thought lol!
