| My first Yorkie I am the proud owner of Lucy - my first Yorkie ever... She is now 5 months old and a ton of joy! I used to own a Rottweiler and he died of old age. I loved him dearly. It's incredible how I never thought I could love any other dog like I loved Rocky but she has just stolen my heart. She's a little dog with a BIG dog attitude. She is so lovable and funny. She loves to play and cuddle. My husband has always been a BIG dog lover and wasn't to crazy about the idea of getting a small dog. He has truly fallen in LOVE with her and has admitted that he adores her. She follows him around everywhere he goes and he calls her Daddy's little girl.. He even will push her in the jogger we bought her. It' so cute! Anyway, we have become Yorkie fans and just love taking her everywhere we go! Thanks God for Yorkies!!! |

| Welcome to Yorkie Talk. My husband was not a fan of little dogs either. He now loves ours. He even takes our Jack on his 4 wheeler and motercycle. |

| Welcome to YT from another new Yorkie mom! My whole family has been much more thrilled with Chloe than they were with my last dog (a toy poodle). The poodle was apparently too "sissified"! Chloe has attitude though, so everyone loves her! My husband always had boxers growing up, so having a small dog has been an adjustment but he's definitely hooked now! -C

| Welcome and congratulations on your furbaby. It's funny how some men think little dogs makes them less masculint, when it is competely the opposite.

| My last dog was a Rottweiler/Lab cross. After she died of old age, I too felt that I could never love another dog like I did her. These little Yorkies though....they sure have a way of stealing your heart hey? Welcome to YT

| I am a new yorkie mom too My name is Christy, and I am a new yorkie mom. He is 8 months old, his name is Harley. I have always owned Siberian Huskies, and pugs. Harley is the love of my life!!! He has such a cute personality, a thinks he is a big dog, not afraid of anything.(Accept the vaccum) He only weighs 3 pounds. He is very tiny, but I worry that he is too skinny. I keep food down all the time and he eats reguraly throughout the day,but I can fell his ribs and little backbone. Is this normal for a little yorkie? I have never owned such a little baby. |
