| Getting another Yorkshire Terrier Hi, I have a little muchkin named Sacha and he is 3 years old. He has been the only little one in the house ever since I got him. He is great with kids even when they handle him with not as much care as they should. Hes never really been around dogs until recent when I moved into an apartment and has seen his other doggy neighbors. He does bark and attempt to get at them but they are all very big dogs so I think that its more defensive than anything. I would like to get him a little brother who is 4 months and very adorable and playful but Im not sure how well Sacha would adapt. Any advice or anything would be greatly appreciated! Have a great day!! |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | We got Marcel when Wylie was about 3 -- and Wylie was upset at first - as in nervous, needy, clingy - didn't want anything to do with this "new little rat". He was insecure. It took a few weeks...and now 2.5 years later, they're best buds.

| Hi! Boo was 5 yrs old when 3 month old Gracie Ruth joined the family. I was thrilled at how good he adjusted to the little monster in the house. We just made sure to give him some one-on-one special time and to be sure that G didn't bully him. He wasn't allowed to be ugly to her, but he could say no to her demands to play without getting in trouble. Puppies have endless engery and they can get a little pushy sometimes.
