| Am I the only one That's looked through some of the clothing sites and have been in shock at the prices of the clothes for our babies. I saw dresses for $70. I wouldn't spend that much on a dress for myself. Plus the shipping is so high. I finally found something I could afford and the shipping was one dollar less then the item and it was just a dress. I just think it's crazy, because I sew myself and know it doesn't cost that much to make those things. To our members here who have sites I'm not trying to offend you, and actually your things were a lot more reasonable then most of the sites I looked at. I'm just super depressed right now, and was trying to cheer myself up by looking for some things for Skippy & Gwen, but I sure wasn't cheered up. Maybe I'm just nuts. |

| You're not nuts. You're right. Maybe it's inflation! Seriously, it's good that you sew, but you probably have the same problem as many of us and that is the time element! Cheer up if you can. Can you post some pics and update us on how your babies are doing. How about Skippy? I was wondering about Skippy the other day.

| You are not nuts, Some people are asking way too much for their doggy clothes. The most I have paid for any of Gus's clothing is $25 for a sweater that I just had to have. But then found something like it a few monthes later for $11.00. And it was the same thing but a different color! I do understand for those people who put alot of time into their clothing, but come on $50 + for a dog (small and tiny dogs I might add) clothing is just crazy! And on top they charge you for shipping,,,,,,, The way I look at it is,,,,,,, if people are willing to pay then why not, more power to them. But for poeple like myself,,,, I will wiat till they are having a BIG sale or search for the samething much cheaper elsewhere. 9 out of 10 times I will find the same thing for much less somewhere else . The extra time it takes to find what I want for the price I am willing to pay is so worth it!

| I know!!! Some of the sites I've looked at are absolutely ridiculous. Luckily though I have seen a lot of sites that have reasonable prices. I bought a faux suede coat for $12 and have seen different shirts/sweaters for around $10. |

| I know from personal experience that www.petedge.com has wonderful prices and good quality stuff. I just got a ton of winter stuff for Coco for under $40 shipping included. I know that Brooke www.imapreciouspup.com has great sales and I think has the cutest girl dresses.

| Yea, they sure do cost a lot, but I'm kind of bad, when I see some thing cute I just have to have it for Princess. I'm looking for a dress now, Can't find the right one, but I'm sure I will. I'm getting married, or should I say remarried (lucky guy) in March. It will be our 25 wedding anniversary, Princess has to be there, so she needs the perfect dress! My husband said the ones she has are fine, well as if he knows the perfect dress! I'm sure I'll find one (or two) soon. Good luck with finding site's Please post some if you find good ones! Have a great day! Gina & Princess |

| I know exactly what everyone is talking about. I've been through probably 50 or more websites and most are too expensive. I own my website and I sew a lot of the stuff on there. I could not charge $50 $60 or $70 for a small dress or t-shirts. When I see shipping of $12 for 1 dog shirt I ask why??? I do know that with a lot of the very big companies , they don't have time to calculate every customer's shipping and they just use a flat rate. I can work with people when it comes to shipping. A lot of the clothes I get are not straight from the manufacturer. I get it from a distributor. I wish I had a bank account in China where most of this stuff is made! The stuff is honestly super cheap if you get it directly from manufacture. Usually you have to be a distributor and have accounts to be able to do that. You would be shocked . When you go to Walmart and buy a $7.99 shirt. That shirt was probably like .90 cents or $1.25. You think you're getting a deal when it goes on clearance for $3. They still get double or triple their money back.Shipping overseas is expensive also. I do tend to overspoil my dogs and do overspend. It's an addiction of love for me I guess lol. Sometimes I have to take a break and say NO NO NO. Genie |

| I go thro the same thing, I love to buy Pita clothes but I am not paying more for her clothes than I do for mine. I get some of them from ebay but there are some reasonably priced places out there. This lady, Reva, makes really good quality dresses and panties: http://queenbk9.smugmug.com You can also order from barkindogclothes.com for custom t-shirts, also www.lovelonglong.com has cheap stuff! Have fun! |
