| New State of the Art Testing Procedure I don't know if anyone has ever seen this proclamation: "The introduction of a new state of the art testing procedure that tests to determine whether they(dogs) are carriers of various life altering/ life threatening canine diseases"- then goes on to list 25 diseases which lead you to believe there is one test for all the diseases- Well if not one test then 25 test @ approx $50.00 a test which boils down to an expense of $1,250.00 per dog tested to make sure they are disease free and healthy to breed - You can have the dogs certified that they are disease free- Well I decided I wanted to have healthy certified dogs also so I called a very well know laboratory and made inquiries about this test/tests- Low and behold!!! I was informed there is NO SUCH TEST- There are 25 tests for 25 diseases but they are very breed specific, which means they can test your dog every day for the disease and they will all test clear of the disease if they are not that specific breed- So you have a beautiful health certificate for a disease that doesn't exist in your breed- Oh! and I was told the lab/company doing all this wonderful testing has just had their license revoked!!!
