| Thoughts and Prayers needed Marley goes for her spay tomorrow. Wish us luck. I wouldn't be so worried if I had not read all these stories on here about anethesia gone horribly wrong. I am a nervous wreck but trying not to let her notice. No food after 8 tonight and I bought a little kennel that I can put her in after the surgery so she won't have to be hand carried out to the car. Any other tips? She has been sleeping with me and the hubby too by the way.. should she sleep with us still or should we just bring her kennel in our room so we can keep an eye on her.

Senior Yorkie Talker | My prayers are with you and your little one. Bella just went for a spay and a hernia repair and she did just well with the anesthesia especially since they had to keep her on it for an extra amount of time, and she only weighs 3lbs. Good luck! Keep us posted. |

| Prayes for you and little Marley. I know how you feel, I just had Maddie's spay done and she did amazing. I however was a nervous wreck. I did go and get her a baby onsie as was suggested by other YT'ers and it helped alot to keep her away from her stitches. I let her sleep in her usual spot, next to me, afterward. I am sure Marley will do great .

| Prayers being sent out to Marley. Wishing her a quick recovery. I know what you mean about the anesthesia. I hate having to put my baby under.

| prayers going out to you and Marley. Molly coped better with her spay than i did!! When i went to pick her up, i took her from the nurse and carried her to the car, no problems. I slept on a mattress on the floor with Molly for the first week, so she wouldnt have to jump up or down. The main problem was trying to keep her quiet for 2 weeks which the vet had recommended! Really hope everything goes as well for you as it did for me. |

| If you are okay not sleeping with her/she is okay not sleeping with you, then the crate is probably best. I slept on a mattress on the floor with Ellie until she could safely jump.

| Just dropped her off ..sigh.. just dropped her off to get spayed ( sorry if you guys are confused about the days and times. I am about 13-15 hours ahead of the states depending on where you are ). I am going to be a nervous wreck today. Now I have to go to go drop my DH off at the airport... wish me luck!

| Just called... The vets assistant said that she is done with surgery and that she is doing good and is awake!!! YaYy! Thanks everyone for your thoughts and prayers, it means alot. Now I wait until 3:30 my time to pick her up and baby her all evening. Looks like I am going to be sleeping on the floor tonight with her, I don't want her to jump off the bed or anything like a previous poster noted. Oh, dropped off the hubby at the airport too. Looks like its just me and the furbutts for 5 weeks I'll be fine!
