| Yorkies are like celebrities... They get attention every where they go! LOL. The local news here in Oklahoma was doing a thing where they went around to 5 different towns and did the news from each one. They came to my town yesterday and it was like a mini festival at the park with live music and different vendors with booths and stuff. Anyway, DH and I went to check it out and took Tobie with us. It was cracking me up because I was constantly hearing people go, "aww... look at the puppy! he's sooo cute!". One of the newscaster ladies even walked by and pointed Tobie out to her daughters. I have never had another dog that got so much attention while out in public. Yorkies are just too irresistable!

| I know! Sometimes it even gets irritating... I cannot go anywhere without "Ohh look at the cute puppy!" etc. My DH insists that I love it, but it gets to a point where I just want to be left alone!

| I feel that way too. Like yesterday, when I took Missy for a walk on a trail just to get some "alone time" and destress. People were constantly approaching us, or commenting to us. It got annoying, but only because of my bad mood I guess.

| I know people love the small ones - my friend has a couple tiny ones and people stop her constantly. Sammy is my show-stopper. People cross the street to meet her. Even then men stop to pet her. She is super friendly and is constantly wagging her whole butt when she meets new people. Her ears are perky and her topknot is adorable. The kids all say "look at her ponytail!" Even the local dog walker declared her the cutest dog she'd ever met So yeah, she is kinda like a little celebrity She's the perfect advertising for anything I make sure to educate people about Yorkies when they ask. It's easy to point to 6 pound Sam and say THIS is the size they are supposed to be, see how small she is? No reason to go much smaller. I also explain that there are no teacup Yorkies, etc. I keep telling her she needs a modeling job or something. |

| They are little attention grabbers. It's like that when I go out with Tila too, everyone points and ohhs, they want to pet her and ask about her and everything. I love my baby, but it's gets annoying. I always just try to ignore, people probably think I'm stuck up. But I'm not at all, it's just all the pointing and everything. |
