| Any other options? Alright, I brought little Tinky (4 months, almost 5) home last Thursday and she has been great! She pees on the pad -60% of the time - and is such a sweet pea. One problem: She's like an owl. Nocturnal. She sleeps all day and stays up all night. You see, she sleeps in her pen (well she's supposed to) which is downstairs and all she does is bark and whine. She woke me up at 1:30, 3:30, 6:00, and 9:20 in the morning. I have no clue how to calm her down. I try not to go downstairs but she just barks way too much. So much, she can wake up the neighbors, and I don't want that. Any suggestions?

| Try to keep her up during the day. Play with her short periods at a time to not over exhaust her. Or sleep with her. I vowed to my hubby that no more babies were going to sleep with us. When I got my Yorkies I couldn't sleep at night b/c all the noise they made at night. My bedroom is right above the pantry that I kept them in and I could hear them like they were in my room. I brought them up and put them in bed and they never said another word!

| All of mine sleep in the same room as I do, I find that, that keeps them calm and not worried about were I am. Mary |

| I agree with Sharley. When I first got Buddy I use to keep him up after 5pm. I let him sleep for 10-15 min every hour or so, then woke him up again. An hour before my bed time he was not allowed to sleep. It worked. |

| I agree, Lucy sleeps in my room with me. When I first got her I put up a baby gate so that she couldn't get to my bed but could see me. I don't use the baby gate anymore but she stays in her bed and can see me from her bed.
