| My Harley is 14 months, his head had lightened, but his black has not changed at all. I think that he is going to stay dark, but I have also read that they can be up to three years old before they change completely. Jeri and Harley |

YT Addict | I went and looked at all your pictures, he to be a black and gold, but I don't think I have ever seen one that their hand don't turn gold or tan. That is about the 1st thing to turn. He is very cute. I love the black and gold, I love the color they are as puppies. |

YT Addict | I think black and gold. I was asking about the age you got him because the big thing now with bad breeders and everyone wanting so small, they are lieing on the Birth dates. people think they are getting a 12 wk old and it is really 5-6 wks old. I have some friends that works at different vets office and they are seeing it more and more. I say yours is black and gold, you are lucky!! |

No Longer a Member | lil copper Miss muffie is copper's sister and they look nothing alike they are the same size but their color is nothing alike she belongs to my mom so copper and her have lots of playdates . And we cant beleive how she has changed and he has;nt thanks for your responce |

| my puppy is 6 months old and his colors havent changed, i fear when i get him his first haircut that will change though, his mother was silver and his father was black and gold, he is black and gold but at the roots he has silver showing. |
