| Birthday celebrations... who celebrates their yorkies b-day... So, I saw an article in the paper a few weeks ago. It was a pet suppy store that booked birthday parties complete with a doggie friendly cake and gift bags. Who celebrates their pups birthday and how? I know for sure I am going to do something special for the twins when they are a year old. I don't know if it will be a big party but it would be fun to have a doggie meet up to celebrate. Hmmm... I still have a little while to think...they are only 4 months old.

| Oh I love to celebrate birthdays. So I threw Copper a 1st B-Day party and had all of my friends and family come over. I made pupcakes and piped on a (frosting) made of muscapone cheese and yogurt. And had food and cupcakes for the people. We played games, and had some contests like; who knows the most trics, and had a fetch derby haha. Every one went home with a doggy bag full of bully sticks and squeeky balls and squeeky toys. It was alot of fun and we all laughed alot. I even had some left over pupcakes that I sat on the counter, when my younger bro came in he popped one in his mouth by accident haha he was very dissapointed when he realized it was not a real cupcake.

| We have celebrated Maddie's first 2 birthdays with princess parties. Se even worn a crown for pictures! LOL However, it was just her mommy, daddy, and her grandparents. We had a good time but I think my 4 yr. old neice enjoyed the party more than Maddie. haha |

| Each month is a celebration for us. We have been through so much in the last few years... so when they reach a year we are going to have fun with it. I hope to get a bunch of friends together with dogs and go to the park and just celebrate our dogs.

| My sister's lab also has his birthday in January, so we had a birthday party with pup cakes. It was just my brother and me (he can't resist cupcakes!), my parents' two staffies, Cash and Mauzer, the lab. The cupcakes I made were suited for dogs and humans. Cash stuffed himself with two, but still wanted more. It was fun. Next year, June will be one in February (on Valentine's day) and since Cash's birthday is on the 24th of January, I will throw them a party together. I am also thinking of having a picnic in the local dog park, with loads of munchies for the dogs and ourselves. It should be lots of fun. I never thought I would hold birthday parties for my dogs, but it just seems wrong not to. Anyway, I want their next birthday party to be big. Can't wait.

| We've always given our pets a gift on their bdays. Missy will definitely be having a party though. The kids have already asked me if she's getting a cake. Of course she is!

| We usually do something special on birthdays. Usually we go to Petsmart and use our "birthday" toy coupon. (...... and they LOVE going there and smelling all the different scents!)

| We had a HUGE family party for Pasquale. We even invited the dog next door....but she's deathly afraid of Pasquale, even though she's about 15 times bigger than him. Everyone brought gifts and we even sang Happy Birthday!
