| I think I ruined my dog's hair! Isla was groomed for the first time ever this spring since her long cottony coat was knotting with all the twigs and leaves. It was a haircut that had her body short and head hair long so she could have a pony. It took me a while to get used to it and like it since I really liked her long hair. This last week we were at the lake for the first time and her pony got really knotted with the lake, sand and woods so I had to cut her pony out! She looks like a goat! I'm so sad; I can't tell if she looks cute or dorky. I decided I needed some support from my YT family! The first two pics are her now. The last pic was her at the lake before her pony got knotted. Which do you prefer? Dog or goat?

| Oh, I forgot to mention. You can still use little bows in her hair above her ears for that baby girl look your missing. That is what I do when I have maddie's head trimed short for summer time. |

| A dorky yorkie??!!!? Never! She's a doll no matter what's done. And it will definitely grow back. I keep two of my babies with short hair on the head and three with long. I like it both ways.

| I'm so sorry, your post made me laugh out loud though, especially the part about the goat! She is totally adorable, even with her pony cut off!

| I'm not that computer lingo savvy--what's PFT? And thanks everyone for your kind words. I think the pics look better than real life. I don't think she was too happy afterwards. She kept running around and rubbing her head on the floor I think to grow her hair back!

| I think no matter what you do to them- they are the cutest little pups EVER!! I just made Katie into a bobble head I cut her long coat on her legs and body and left her head alone.

| She is a cutie either way, I was cracking up about the goat! She is so cute. If the new look is driving you nuts, try blending it in a little bit around her eyes and then let it grow. Good luck!

| That's cutest goat I've ever seen Don't worry, it will grow out sooner than you think. At least that's what I tell myself every time I give Noah a bad hair cut |
