| Scooter did this when he was a baby, like 10 weeks till 16 weeks. Here's what I did: I put him in his play pen, left the room for like 10 seconds, came back, once he stopped holloring and calmed down I treated him, picked him up gave him a hug, put him back, left for 15 seconds etc.etc. It took about 2 days of doing this and extending the time until he realized Mommy is coming back, I'll wait.

| Baxter is 19 months old and still does the screaming. He does not do it if he is in the bathroom where he stays during the day. I can leave him out in the house and go outside where he sees me and he screams the entire time. I tried the leaving and coming back stuff and it didn't work. Good luck with Munchie. |

| We went through this with JoJo when he was a baby. It seemed as if he would never stop. He screamed like he was dying. They are so much like children and they really know how to work us. We would not even say a word when we got out of the car, but he would start screaming anyway. We could hear him outside! Just make sure he is comfortable and has a toy he feels secure with. I also put a ticking clock in the room where I had his kennel. All of a sudden, he stopped. He must have decided we were going to come back. Sometimes now, just to keep him company, I will turn music on real low when we are gone. As with children, keep being consistent. Good luck. |

| I remember going through that with Buddy when I first brought him home. When I went into my bathroom to get ready for work he would cry from the kitchen. It was so stressful trying to keep him quiet and get ready for work. I gave up and allowed him to roam free while I got ready. He was fine. I had already took him out at 6 and then out again at 8 when I left. He was fine between that time. When I left for work his crying started again. It was a hard time for both of us. He'll outgrow it. Hang in there it really does get better. They are lonesome missing their siblings and mommy. New mommy, strange surroundings. Yorkies get attached to the hip. They always want to be with someone. It just who they are. |
