| yorkie 2 years old.. new to this site need advice Hello I have a yorkie, her name is Bella Mia, she is about 2 years old. She is not spayed and she lives with my other dog, remi who is a pitbull. The two absoloutely love eachother, they are best friends. My question is why does my Yorkie whine all the time? She constantly whines, for no reason, she can be sitting right on me, and she just whines. Its so frustrating, I dont know whats wrong with her. She is put in a playpen when we go to work during the day, lots of space in there but its when she is out that she whines constantly. Please help. Anybody have this problem? new to this site. love it |

| Good No worries about a Prego then ~ but intact females can fight and fight till death, so hopefully one of them is spayed... Last edited by TLC; 07-13-2009 at 10:30 AM. |

| Dogs are creatures of habit and since she has spent the most of her time in a pen, maybe she is insecure and whines when she is out of it. You said she only whines when she is out. Did her former owner also pen her? Just saying...... |

| puppy pen? Hi, It sounds like maybe it's the pen. If your pen has a door leave it open so the she can come out when she feels like it (when your home of course). You could try to consistantly feed her only outside of the pen, give her a treat and play with her immediately when she comes out of it. Then she can associate good things with coming out of her pen.Good luck!
