| Coat color At 10 months JoJo is still black/tan. His mom was light blue and blonde, and his dad was a darker steel blue and tan. So naturally, I thought he'd turn into a color somewhere along those lines. I heard that it can take up to 2 years for their coats to change, but honestly I don't care if he doesn't change at all...I love him no matter what. But I did notice something today and I was wondering if it's typical on a darker yorkie, or a yorkie who's destined to remain dark. In sunlight, his black coat has a deep red undertone to it. Is it safe to assume that the red indicates there will be no blue? Anyone else notice this on your darker yorkies?
