| Advice/Suggestions?? Riot and I are leaving tomorrow morning for his first ever plane ride! He's all ready to go with his Pet Flys, a reservation to be in cabin, a bully stick, a non-squeaky toy, rabies certificate, health certificate, tranquilizers (vet insisted I have then just in case but idk...) a pee pad for the plane, a few treats and a portable water bottle/bowl thing. I am so nervous! I've never flown with an animal before! The first flight is about an hour 15 minutes, with approx hour layover, folowed but an almost 3 and a half hour flight. Any advice, suggestions, hints?? What about going through security? How do they handle that? Thanks!

| Blankets Don't forget blankets, 2 of them . One for inside the crate and one to cover the crate. Some times the floor is cold for them. And if your baby is nervous you can cover the crate to darken it. It helps to calm them and make them feel more secure. Happy traveling |

| I do not have any advice to offer. Best of luck on your travels. Please send an update and let us know how it went. We will be moving to the east coast from Alaska in winter....not an ideal time to drive across country. I'm nervous as heck about flying with Honey Bear. I know she will not want to be cooped up in her carrier for hours on end. Avg flights between layovers is 4-6 hours. I know the regulations on flights strictly prohibit you from holding your baby which will be absolute torture for both of us!
