| Yorkies ears are suppose to stand erect, however some fail to do so. It is no indication of how big or small the dog will be. Hope this helps

| Yorkies that have their ears shaved three quarters from the top have a better chance of having their ears stand up. The weight of the hair on a puppy's ears can weigh the ears down. Sometimes you may need to tape their ears for a short period of time (not more than three days or risk infection). For more information and instructions on yorkie ear taping you can go to you tube, do a search and look at a video. With some yorkies it just takes longer for their ears to stand erect. |

| Ok, don't laugh....but, I thought Lexi got bit by something behind her ear because one day it was sticking straight out the side of her head. So, I kept trying to fold it back down due to the fact I never could find a bite and she looked silly My vet said she probably was trying to get her ears to go up and guess Mommy was trying to keep them down....LOL Well, needless to say guess her ears will always be down. Bad mommy... She is 8 months old guess they will be down right Hugs Cheryl & Lexi |
