| Is she warming up to him? Today Marley was barking at the new pup and running from him in what seemed to be a playful manner. She would pounce in front of him and bark ( like when she is playing with her toys or chasing a frisbee ) and then waiting for him to chase her. She kept doing this but she still seem like shes mad at me for getting him. Do you think she is finally maybe starting to warm up to him. I was laying down today and he was on my chest sleeping and she hopped up on the couch and laid between my legs like she normally does. She also followed me to the bathroom while I gave him a bath in some special shampoo bc he was making my allergies act up. I hope I don't wind up being allergic to him!! Marley has peed a couple times around the house too. Is this her acting out?

YT 1000 Club Member | Sounds like she's warming up and figuring out there's enough love to go around. At least she's not hiding now. The peeing could be that she's putting her scent around. There's a new scent in the house and it's her way of marking her territory maybe. The more she gets used to him I'm sure it will pass. So glad to hear it seems to be smoothing out.

| Sounds like they are going to be best friends!!! I know my older girl was almost 2 when we got the puppy and she was not as excited as the rest of us. They are best friends now--I love watching them chase each other all over the house!!! |
