| Papers with my yorkie? Hi everyone I would like to tell you i purchased my yorkie baby girl last week. She is now 9 weeks old. I just wondered do you only need papers with your puppy for breeding? I was told i dont need any papers unless i was breeding her. The breeder asked me if i wanted her registered or not. I said no because i wasnt going to breed her, also she weighs 1.2 lbs at the moment, is this a healthy weight? Last edited by -x kellie x-; 07-11-2009 at 03:42 PM. |

| Whether she is shown/bred/not bred. You should have AKC papers to PROVE she is a purebred and registered with the AKC as proof. Yes, register her. And congrats on your new baby.!!

| Welcome to you and your new baby She is small, if you are not planing on breeding her, I wouldn't worry about papers.
