| So upset by this ad I was just browsing dogs for sale and found this ad for an unregistered yorkie looking for a "retirement" home at 2.5 years old. In the pictures he looks so sad. On closer inspection, he has a CHOKE CHAIN around his neck Pet Yorkshire Terrier Looking for Retirement Home - Saskatoon Dogs & Puppies For Sale - Kijiji Saskatoon

| I just emailed to see if she could let him go for less than 700. I don't know if I even CAN get another dog (moving to a condo aug 1... i'd need to get approval for a second dog if they even allow more than one)... and with the moving costs, I don't think I could afford anything more than 400 or 500 for this little guy. But I'm going to try. His giant eyes are breaking my heart!

| I can let you know when she gets back to me about the price. I would love to see this boy in a good home! My parents live less than an hour away so I just called my mom to see if she knows anyone looking for a little dog, but she doesn't

| Yea he's a cutie pie. I emailed them about the choke chain. That's really horrible, i hope they didn't damage his trachea.

| I got a reply. He has sired "a few" litters, he has not been around children so she doesn't know how well he would do with them. He does well with other dogs and prefers females. She is also open to offers.

| I would maybe be able to take him for 300. I have no money for another dog right now. I have no children tho so that would be a plus for him. Hah omg if I got another yorkie I think my bf would die. But he is sooo adorable and he looks so sad. Ugh I am the biggest sucker for dogs ever. |

I also don't have any children but I do plan on having children, and I want him to have a forever home. I guess the best thing to do would be to socialize him.

| Haha I have asked her if she will go 300 or lower.. well see what she says. The hardest part for me is moving aswell mostly because people that rent out thier places take a damage deposit for each dog and somtimes it can be as much as $600 a dog. Its nuts.. now if i had 3 that would cost a small fourtune to move haha. I wish I owned a home I would have like 10 dogs lol |

| I decided to buy because it's so hard to find a place where I live that will rent at all if a dog is involved. I was lucky with the place I'm in now, but I love that I found a condo that will allow pets if they are approved. When I get home tonight I will email the guy from my condo association and see if another dog would be allowed. If anyone else wants to get this little guy, let me know! Maybe we could even do a yorkie chain.
