| Life stages... At what age does a doggie go from: pup to adult? adult to senior? Am I forgetting any stages?

| I am not sure, I know that there are certain ages for each but I do also know that a lot of what categorizes them is their activity level and their health.

I think, although not completely sure, he was never the kind of dog that would chase balls, play with toys, or do any of that. He was always mellow. So I thought that was just normal for him and his personality. Or is it age??? At around 8 years old, would he be considered a senior dog?

YT 1000 Club Member | What is it they say in dog years 1=7? Something like that. I wonder if that same thing applies for little dogs since they live longer then most big dogs.

| For small dogs they say 1 human year = 5 dog years. |

| I know that the Vet told me to switch Toby from puppy to adult food when he turned a year old. However, I'm not sure about senior status.
