Senior Yorkie Talker | Help! Looking for a dress pattern. Hi everyone! Don't know if this is in the right forum, pls redirect me if not. I'm a stay at home mom/wife and I'm need to keep myself busy, so I am interested in making my little Bella some dresses. Can anyone give me an easy dress pattern to start off with? Thanks for the help! |

| There are some dog patterns from the big pattern companies - Simplicity, McCalls, etc. although I've never used them. If you don't need a pattern with multiple sizes, just copy a harness that fits her really well. I started with a harness that fit OK and modified it to fit Sammy really well. Since she doesn't change sizes, I just use that. There are free tutorials online for how to add a ruffle. Sandi Henderson has a free tutorial on her website for gathering: Portabellopixie There are a TON of sewing forums out there - sewmamasew.com, craftster.org, patternreview.com Trust me, if you think you have free time now, you won't once you see how much good stuff it out there! My whiteboard next to my sewing machine has a "must-make" list of over 20! |
