YT 1000 Club Member | Greasy Looking I just gave Roxie a bath 2 days ago and she already looks greasy. I don't really like the stuff I'm using now. My SIL works for a groomer and she gave me this bottle of shampoo. It's called Soothing Suds PetEdge: Top Performance Soothing Suds Shampoo. No scent, tearless but just not giving me good results. Any suggestions on what to use? Some input of good shampoo's and condtioners would be much appreciated.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | If Roxie has a silky coat like my Pixie I use coat handler or Espree. I found the Petsilk and Minksheen make her look greasy, but are great for my other 2 with cottony coats.

YT 1000 Club Member | She does have the silky coat. Thank you for replying. I want her to look pretty and shiny and it's starting to make me think I should cut her hair but I don't want to. Where can I get the coat handler or Espree?

| I noticed right after tootsie goes to groomer she doesnot get as greasy looking as fast. I called my groomer she said she uses dawn to cut greasy film and then follows with tropiclean Papaya she said it normalizes and moisturizes naturally and is soap free also it is shampoo and conditioner combo. I went to her shop bought a bottle and oh my now my furkids smell like pina coladas and all look beautiful no one looks greasy just unbelievably shiny!!!!! Yay!!!!!!!!!!

| Curious to see if you found something to stop the greasy hair. In the past few months we have noticed this becoming more and more of an issue for one of ours. We have tried a few different shampoos and can not find the one we liked anymore. They have stopped selling it so we are in search of something new! Would love to see what worked for you in the end! |

| I (and Sophie's groomer) swear by Yorkie Splash Shampoo & Yorkie Shine Conditioner. It's made just for Yorkshire Terriers coats and it makes Sophie's coat look, feel and smell absolutely amazing. It's all natural, too.

| It's not advertised as tear free but Sophie hasn't had a problem with it. She is real good in her bath. I use a baby washcloth on her face and wipe around her eyes with warm water. Her eyes have never looked red or irritated. If you want more info on it you can go to Yorkies of Walnut Hills website or google it to see it.
