| We got shots today!! And I am certainly glad that is OVER for a YEAR!!! Miss Gracie is 3 months old today. Our vet comes to our home. She looked over Miss Gracie Belle's shot record and was really impressed with everything that she had received from the breeder. She said it was the best and most complete shot record that she had ever seen of a new puppy. I was pleased with that. Gracie had to be poked twice. She also got her rabies shot and MAN did she fight and cry. I felt horrible holding her down. It was awful!! She is so strong for such a little squirt. |

| It is a relief to get those over with. Just a thought for next year, the rabies should never be given on the same day as any other vaccine 1) because it is so potent and their body shouldn't have to deal with anything else that day and 2) if there is a reaction you wouldn't know which one caused it. Also, if she is only 12 weeks old, she shouldn't be done with her DHPP yet. Starting too early and stopping too early can leave pups unprotected. The last DHPP should be given between 16 and 18 weeks.
