| My day stinks!!!! By a stroke of luck I stopped to visit one of my old patients family who have yorkies and they have a female yorkie pup for sale. She is just adorable. My Mom offered to loan us the money to go get her, so I call my hubby and he said NO. He has a heart condition and is not supposed to have any stress so I hated to push him on the phone. When I got home from work he was laying down. I plan on trying to talk to him when he gets up and see what the scoop is. He knows I have been looking and everything so the no really surprised me. I am going to try very hard to talk him in to it without getting him upset. This little girl would be perfect for us and I personally know her humans who's dogs are treated better than alot of humans. The puppies Mom has the sweetest desposition and actually remembered me, and this will be the last litter that they allow her to have, so this puppy will be her last. I have cried every since I got home. Graff knows something is up, he is spending his time laying down with my hubby and then coming to check on me. Of course I smell like this puppy as she was all over me giving me those treasured puppy kisses. So he will smell me then go running through the house looking for the puppy. He would so enjoy her, and my hubby would too if he would just give her the chance. I think part of it is my Mom loaning me the money, but not for sure. Please everyone keep your fingers crossed that I can sway him my way. I will keep everyone posted with what happens. |

| I wish you good luck .. I'm in the same boat, I would love to have another little girl but my husband won't hear of it. I'm giving it sometime to get him used to the idea that I want another one. |

| I am trying to stay positive. He very rarely ever tells me no when I ask for something so maybe there is hope. He knew I was looking but I guess looking and getting are two different things. Going to go clean house now maybe that will help? |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | ok...THIS is what I did a long time ago. I got Sticky Notes.... and cut out CUTE pictures of Yorkies and put them ALL OVER THE PLACE. I had them stuck to the Remote Control - ON the TV - in the fridge - in his underwear drawer - in the bathroom on the Mirror....INSIDE HIS VAN - everywhere.... I would add a couple a day to different places and he gave in pretty quick I think it took 3 days.....I bet if you really work on him he'll say yes. Tell him it's a proven face that dogs relieve stress. Don't tell him potty training a yorkie can take months |

| I hope everything works out for you. I am glad to hear you found a puppy. Hopefully your husband can be persuaded.

| Well he is up, but is feeling pretty bad so I won't do anything just yet. Once his medication kicks in he should feel better. I like the sticky note thing and the love letter thing too. May have to do one or both of them. I can't help thinking about her all evening. I did clean house and fixed him a wonderful dinner. Maybe that will help. |
