| Yorkie's with tails? We are having our litter of pups tails docked on friday. My bf isnt sure if he wants his pups tail docked or not. We are looking to see pictures of yorkies with tails. If you have a yorkie with a tail we would love to see the pics! |

| Jackson's got a tail! My personal opinion is that tail docking is pretty pointless! I don't think it's "cruel" or anything as much as there is just no point to it other than to appease human's perceptions of what a certain breed is 'supposed' to look like. It's actually been banned in certain countries.

YT 1000 Club Member | The only reasoning I see for the tail docking is if the dog is to be shown. I have 2 boys that have their tails they are my pets . I also have a female that I am showing right now that had her tail docked. Unfortunately the public sees Yorkies with docked tails and thats what they want.

| This is Noah and his tail. I love his tail. I think it adds to his personality and I have to admit that I like watching him chase it. The first picture is the day I got him. He was six months old. The last picture was taken shortly after his second birthday. I used to keep the hair on his tail long. I reminded me of a rooster tail. I like the hair shorter now. It looks cleaner. |

| Twinkle and Wicket both have full tails (docking's illegal in England - since 2007 I think).....I haven't seen that many yorkies with docked tails, but it does seem weird to see Boxers and Rottweilers with their tails now because I'm so used to seeing them docked. Here's some pics of Twinkle showing off her tail (she's wondering if Jackson has a girlfriend? ) xxx

| I have one with a tail and one without. I love Mayzie's tail! I keep it trimmed. I was trying to find a good picture of it but was having trouble.
