Senior Yorkie Talker | just verbage to describe the look of a vorkie my first yorkie was the most adorable yorkie i have ever had..She even made the front page..fill size of our news paper during a parade. I am looking for a new furbaby with the same body type she had..however here on yorkie talk it seems to be a sin to even say the word Teddy Bear Yorkie..it is just a description of a yorkie with short legs ,a wider face and a short muzzle. (tell me if i am wrong) I too think that when people say tea cup they are just describing a smaller yorkie . I appreciate all the wonderfull experienced people that help those of us that are less so, but can you be more understanding of us non-professional i hope i did not offend anyone because that is not why i am talking about this i love orkieTalk and have told many people how great everyone is .I hope i have not done anything wrong in posting this that would get me kicked out of my favorite site... Love to all Karen and Kati |

| To me teddy bear and doll faced are just descriptions of a certain type of face on a yorkie. I dont see anything wrong with it

| When I first laid eyes on my Yorkie puppy I thought that my baby looked like a teddy bear too. My son would call her that all the time. I did not know it was a bad thing to refer her to having a bear face at all. She's nearly 16 months old, and still beautiful. We have a new 9week old Shih Tzu and she has the excat same little bear face, just smooshed in , LOL. I hope you can find a new yorkie puppy , they are so much fun !

| The problem is not the verbage, I apologize if my post on the other thread came off that way. The problem is the fact that breeders use that verbage to get put a higher pricetag on the puppy. People are lead to believe that they are getting a "special" yorkie because they are "teddy bear", "teacup", or "baby doll faced". It is not a sin to call them that, just don't ask for more money for them because you feel they are that way. I have a teddy bear yorkie (if you choose to call her that) and I paid the same price as all the other yorkies from that breeder who did not look that way. Roxy has a compact body, short legs, shorter muzzle, and bright beautiful eyes. But she is simply by yorkie baby!!

| I the think it's bad unless the person is trying to sell it for extra money, because they're trying to sucker someone in.
