| What do you think? I have found a lady with a yorkie puppy. She only sell yorkies and as 1-2 litter a year. Now, my question is that she wants 1/2 the cost for this female because her ears are not standing up and she weights more then her average puppys. She also has a male for sale that she is asking more for than the female but still 1/2 cost. This is a red flag to me? What do you all think?? |

| Imo, I do not think the price should be the main concern. Look at the breeder and look at the conditions that the puppies are living in. Are they well cared for? Are they bred and kept indoors as family pet members? Are they taken to the vet on a regular basis? Does she have any references that she can give you to go speak with? We just adopted a puppy from a breeder on YT, and the cost was also low compared to most. However, the care given him was obvious. He is a healthy happy little boy. |

| I got Twinkle cheaper because she was so much bigger than her brothers and sisters....her breeder wasn't the best but she did love her yorkies.Twinkle turned out to be 12lb and has quite a few 'faults', but she is flawless to me I say go with your heart...you'll know if this baby is the one for you xxx

YT 1000 Club Member | I don't know if they're all floppy or not. I got Roxie at 10 weeks old and her ears stood straight up. I always wondered if all yorkies are born floppy and if the ears trained to stand up? I think they are cute either way. Roxie is about 5 lbs. and I have always thought it would be fun to have another of bigger size. Then I'd have the best of both worlds lol!!

| This puppy is at 8 weeks old, weight about 1.13lb. Both parents are around 6ish lb. I was thinking that the ears might pop up later. I just want to be cautionish now that I lost my other puppy. |

Often times ears will stand up later in a yorkie puppy. that really is not much of a problem. If this breeder is trying to sell you the puppy right now , then I would be concerned. Because she is too young and weighs too little. I am also concerned if she is sick , and that is why the price is reduced. Often times the female puppies are higher then the males. IMO, I would use caution.

| Yes, we would be waiting tell later. The breeder will give me a vet health guarantee. She is even willing to give me a long guarantee! |

| At 8 weeks old weighing 1lb is not big at all. Also, if guesstimating on the weight, chances are this puppy isn't going to be that big at all. 8 weeks old is young. The breeder can start taping the ears to stand. I do agree its not so much the money as it is the conditions and health of the baby.. good luck!

| This is good then. As long as your not taking home the puppy until 12 weeks with the health guarantee you should be in very good shape. Best wishes to you
