| Extra Precaution to keep him safe. Help! Lucas will be coming out to BC for the first time this summer. Our condo is on the 3rd floor and has a balcony. There is a railing with glass obviously, but there is space under of about 4 inches. I'm not too terribly worried about him trying to squeeze under there but you never know right?! I'm wondering what I can put under there. Can you buy little tiny short mesh fences or something to fill the space??? We are leaving in a week so I should figure this out ASAP. Thanks so much for your input, I just wanna take every precaution since this will be his first time out there. Also, Is there anyting else I need to be aware of when he is in an apartment/condo setting? Thanks again

| I know that you can buy mesh netting for stairways or balconies in baby stores. A tennis net would also work. We have an open balcony. We bought cheap plastic garden fencing at Wal-Mart that is about a foot tall and cut off the stakes. Zip stripped them to the rails. It has saved me many a gray hair.
