| How big is he gonna get?? Sam is 3 mo 2 wks old (will b 4 months on July 7th) and weighs in at 8 lbs already! How big is he gonna get? I'm personally thrilled he's bigger since he's a little more durable than the 3 lb pup I brought home! Has anyone else had a yorkie at that weight and age and how big are they now? I'm really curious! |

| Sam is going to be a big boy. Generally, you double their weight at three months and add .5 to one pound. That would definitely put him in the 16 pound teapot range. |

♥Tiny Tia my Furbaby♥ Donating Member | Sometimes I wish Tia was bigger, shes not the smallest of the small but at 5lb 5oz she sometimes get trodden on. Enjoy your beautiful boy at least he won't get sore paws lol

| Looks like you got yourself a "Teapot". Buddy was 6.5 lbs at 14 1/2 wks today he's 16.3lbs. I'd guess Sam will be around 16 -18lbs. He's already almost 2lbs larger than Buddy was at that age. The bigger ones are wonderful. You don't have to worry so much about stepping on them. They are always underfoot just like the smaller ones. They seem to be healthier as well. They act just like the little one's but are just bigger. Congratulations, you'll love the size. |

| Exactly what everyone else has said. You can make a rough estimate by doubling their weight at 12 weeks. All the same, it's just a guess, you never know for sure! But it definitely looks like Sam is going to be a teapot! Zoe's smaller than Sam and she's 1 year old, but we were thrilled she made it to 5.5 pounds, since we didn't want a tiny yorkie either. Weight guesses aside, enjoy Sam while he's a puppy because he's going to be a big boy (not just in size but age too) soon enough!
