| Do you tip your groomer?? Jemma goes for her first cut tomorrow morning. 45.00. I would think you tip the groomer like when we go and get our own hair done. Right or wrong? If so, what is a fair tip? Thanks all

| I do the same as Chachi, $10 tip for each dog. My mobile groomer charges $65 for each dog, so it's an expensive haircut. That's why I only have them groomed a few times a year.

| I pay $35 and tip $5 for my furbaby's haircut. The sad thing is I only pay $20 and tip $5 for my own hair. Something is wrong with that. But Layla can get away with two to maybe three cuts per year while I have to have one every four weeks....shew I feel better after realizing that. All good. |

| I tip my groomer $10 too but she is super cheap. $25, no tax, for bath, dry, cut, teeth cleaned, nails, massage and anal glands when needed. Plus no caging, she only does small dogs and she lets them play while they wait! Oliver loves going.

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | I always tipped my groomer because I am paying for a service. I tip my own hair dresser so why shouldn't i tip my dogs? Now, i just recently became a certified dog groomer and i will say i'm so happy when clients tip. I think it shows they are happy with the groom and the services provided. Plus right now i'm not making too much money since i'm new, so tips are greatly appreciated as non taxed cash in my pocket.

| I bathe him myself, so she just does cutting his hair and ear cleaning for $25. I pay $30. I get to stay with him and play with all the doggies too! She's great, she lets them run around instead of being in cages.

| I usually tip $10 per dog. She charges $40 each for everything including tooth brushing. They get both groomings done in about 2 hrs and do not cage them and are super nice to them. They are not stressed when I pick them up. I really appreciate the peace of mind knowing they are in good hands so I think $10 each is about right.

| I agree that $65.00 is a lot of money. But she is really good, she parks her van in my driveway and I am right there to see what she's doing. She specializes in yorkies and grooms about 30 yorkies per month.

Psssstttt.....tips are taxable too! Don't worry, I won't tell but you probably will want to look into that. The good ol' IRS knows which jobs are prone to having tip income that is supposed to be reported.
