| Swimming Yorkie I took Bella with me to go swimming with my niece and nephew. I got in the pool she went crazy. I splashed her a little but she wouldnt stop barking so my sister said put her on the lounge float and see what she does. Well she jumps in the water and swims and she has her harness on so I grab the ring where the leash hooks ( for safety). I thought, well Ill put her back on the float ( figured she learned what it was all about ) Bella jumps back in, she loves it. Just wondering does anyone else have a baby that likes to swim? Shes all tuckered out now!! |

| My Mandie loves to go swimming... She was the same way at first, barking because of the waterfall and shooters. She doesnt jump in but once you put her in she is swimming back and forth in the pool. Its soo cute!!!

| I have taken my Puppy in the pool twice. She likes to lay on the pool chair/bed. Not sure how much she likes the water yet ? I hope she learns to love it ! It is good exercise for them. |

| I think Davey might like to go swimming, but I am worried about his ears. Could he get an infection due to the water? Thoughts? |

| They can get an infection if they are not dried properly. My vet had me get some solution to use when they get out to help dry up excess water if necessary (even though i rarely use execpt for regular cleanings and i have not had a problem)

YT 1000 Club Member | I want to take Roxie boating with us but I need to get her a life jacket. We went the other day but it was just too hot out for her to go. Waiting for a nicer day to take her. I noticed today that she seems to like the bath tub for a bath better then the kitchen sink. No shaking so maybe she'd do ok in the pool or something. Those pictures are so cute, I need to get a baby pool too!!

YT 1000 Club Member | Is that specifically for dogs? I used to have to use that stuff on my kids. One would get swimmers ear so bad. I'll have to check with my vet about this too. Don't want any painful ear problems.

| We don't have a pool, but Gracie Ruth loves to play and run through the yard sprinkler. Even though she smells like 'wet dog' afterwards, it's not something I can deny her. That was fun Momma! Lets do it again!
